The make-up was simple – just gorgeous, fresh clean skin. I used a little bit of brown liner along the lash line to add some definition to the eyes along with some soft shadow. For a lot of the shots (most in fact I think!) the eyes are covered, that’s what you get for working with sunglasses (!!), therefore the lips become the important feature from a make-up point of view. I used Bang Bang by Ilia Beauty, a really wearable red and one of my favourite shades from the brand. It is a lip conditioner rather than a lipstick so sheerer in colour, but you can build it up to quite a strong look. It was perfect for the shoot because it worked really well with all of the frames, it enhanced without competing for attention.
Bang Bang is a great red to try if you want to give colour a go but are a bit apprehensive. You can wear it really sheer and then build it up as you become more confident with it. I’ve featured it on here before, as it has become a staple in my personal make-up bag as well as in my kit.
