My brief for this look was fresh and glowing – one of my favourites! Our model Abby had lovely skin already with gorgeous freckles which I was certainly not going to cover up. I prepped her skin by cleansing with a creamy cleanser and toner and then massaged in Bodhi & Birch’s Neroli Luce Revitalising Face Oil. This is an amazing oil that leaves skin with a gorgeous glow but it isn’t greasy and make-up goes really well over the top – I do leave a little time for it to sink in before I apply foundation though.
For foundation I used Vapour Organic Beauty’s Atmosphere Soft Focus Foundation. I mainly applied it under Abby’s eyes and around her nose and chin – down the centre of the face. I used Vapour’s cream bronzer in Spicy to add a gentle contour under her cheekbones and Liz Earle’s Healthy Glow Cream Blush in Coral over her cheekbones. I used a little bit of rms’ ‘Un’ Powder to stop any excess shine just on areas like the chin, nose and under the eyes.
I created the black flick with Marks & Spencer’s Autograph Black Gel Liner – they only do a black and a brown but both are residents in my kit. They are great eyeliners, good value -£7.50 each and the whole range is BUAV certified as cruelty free – a must for my kit. I gently contoured the eyes using Couleur Caramel eyeshadows and added a pop of highlighter in the inner corners using a lighter shimmery shade.
On the lips I used a gloss by BITE Beauty.
